With ONE Championship holding one of their biggest events of the year and UFC fighters preparing for UFC Vegas 70, the last day was packed with quite a lot of excitement for the fans. In today’s MMA news roundup, we’ll start off by taking a look at the pre-event weigh-ins for the UFC Vegas 70. Furthermore, ONE Championship also offered an enthralling event to the fans with several exciting bouts in different combat disciplines. And we’ll wrap things up with knowledge about how the noted UFC Bantamweight star, Sean O’Malley‘s tweet, received a taunting reply from his fellow divisional fighter, Umar Nurmagomedov, who is also a member of former UFC Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s team.
A look at the UFC Vegas 70 pre-bout weigh-ins
The stage was all set for its next Fight Night at the UFC Apex. Fighters scheduled to compete at the event also went through the official ceremonial weigh-ins recently. The main eventers of the UFC Vegas 70 took the scale initially. Both fighters, Nikita Krylov and Ryann Spann, made their weights and proceeded to have a frolicking staredown.

Next to the scale was the #11 ranked UFC Middleweight, Andre Muniz, followed by his opponent, Brendan Allen. This pair also made their weights successfully and went on to have a respectful stare-down. The entire main card contestants made their weights successfully and had mostly respectful staredowns prior to their bouts at UFC Vegas 60. Who earned victory and who tasted defeat at ONE Fight Night 7?
ONE Championship also hosted their enthralling event, ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video just a few hours back. It also proved to be a triumph of victory for some fighters. However, others had to cope with defeat. Moreover, it might be agreed that fans at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok had one more captivating experience after the coveted event.
The main event of the night was a Bantamweight MMA bout for the vacant ONE Bantamweight World title. ‘Wonderboy’ Fabricio Andrade finally achieved a victory over his coveted opponent John ‘Hands of Stone Lineker’ after his prolonged wait.

Umar Nurmagomedov derides Sean O’Malley’s tweet
The noted former UFC Bantamweight, ‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley, probably had one more opponent looking to get his hands on him. The #1 UFC Bantamweight contender recently put out a tweet where he opinionated that he will be considered one of the greatest of MMA after he is done and dusted in the sport.

However, Khabib’s cousin and also O’Malley‘s fellow UFC divisional fighter, Umar Nurmagomedov, lashed out at his tweet. Nurmagomedov presented his opinion calling O’Malley an average fighter.
