The often-controversy-creating MMA coverage personality, Ariel Helwani, lambasted the UFC supremo, Dana White, following his infamous New Year’s eve scuffle. Noted UFC Featherweight, Ilia Topuria lost his temper and got into a brawl with a person mistaken as the known singer from his own homeland, Omar Montes. And lastly, Ariel Helwani appears once more due to his startling report about the famed MMA promotion, Bellator MMA, being up for sale.

Ariel Helwani hinted Dana White had set a bad example for his kids

The UFC president, Dana White, was recorded having a shameful slapping altercation with his wife, Anne White, on New Year’s eve. This infamous incident had already drawn massive criticism from all over the world.

Ariel Helwani also went all guns blazing at the UFC boss on his noted podcast, ‘The MMA Hour’. He intended to reply to “all the lies, all the insults, all the bulls*it, all the nonsense” which White had spoken about him previously.

Helwani bashed White, asking him, “What’re your kids going to say about you?”. His deriding intent was apparent. Helwani further continued, “What are your kids going to say about that video? What’re your kids going to say about the kind of person you are?”. Helwani made the most of this one chance he had received to bash White.

Ilia Topuria beats up a black-hoodie guy rumored to be Spanish singer Omar Montes

A recent video showcased the noted UFC Featherweight, Ilia Topuria getting into a bar brawl. ‘El Matador’ was busy playing an arcade game while his adversary came up in a black hoodie and shoved him a number of times. Topuria lost it after that. He took the guy down and landed a few vicious blows before being separated by the others in the bar.

Topuria‘s adversary was initially reported to be the noted Spanish singer Omar Montes. However, later some fans corrected it, identifying Omar Montes as the one standing to the right of Topuria. Montes also got involved in the fight, but he was with Topuria, not against him. He was seen throwing a kick as well, to probably one of the black-hoodie guy’s mates.

Ariel Helwani reported that the Bellator MMA are up for ownership changes

Ariel Helwani also stayed in the news regarding his major announcement regarding the noted promotion, Bellator MMA. Helwani reported, “There are whispers, I’ll just say, that they’re [Bellator MMA] on the market”.

Bellator has been keen on applying fresh additions to their roster. They recently signed in fighters like Sara McMann and Corey Anderson. Hence, it might be understandable to some that the company might be looking all out makeover in this new year.

If Helwani’s words come out to be true, the Bellator will be looking to change a few major factors to go head-to-head with the UFC in the following years.
