Jon Jones revealed his wish of fighting in Madison Square Garden

The bout between the current UFC Heavyweight champ, Jon Jones, and the noted Heavyweight, Stipe Miocic, had been earmarked after Jon Jones’s previous bout. Initially, it was also rumored that these two will lock horns at an event during International Fight Week in July. Further, ‘Bones’ put out a tweet recently to reveal his preferred venue to fight Miocic.

Jones’ tweet read, “How cool would it be to spend my retirement fight dominating the greatest heavyweight of all time, in my home state at Madison Square Garden?”

Also, in the recent UFC Kansas City post-event press conference, the UFC boss, Dana White also gave his nod to Jones’ wishes. He further revealed that this coveted fight will probably take place in the month of November.

While a lot of fans were enthralled by this tweet, a lot of others were worried. They didn’t want the Miocic fight to be the last one for their beloved ‘Bones’.

Alexander Volkanovski’s message for Max Holloway post his win

The Noted UFC Featherweight, Max Holloway, sealed the UFC Kansas City main event with a unanimous decision win over his rival, Arnold Allen. It was a much-awaited victory for ‘Blessed’ which came after a loss against the king of his division, Alexander Volkanovski.

It also may be agreed that Holloway put up a really commendable performance in the main event. It garnered the attention of a few other UFC personalities including Volkanovski himself. ‘The Great’ put out his thoughts about ‘Blessed’s’ fight with a tweet. It read, “Max showing great fight IQ and experience. High level fight…well done lads”

Dana White’s take on Leon Edwards refusing to fight Colby Covington in July

Recently, the UFC boss, Dana White, was questioned about the complications going on regarding the fixture of the next UFC Welterweight title fight. There had been a lot of headlines about this issue previously as well. However, the current UFC Welterweight Champ, Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards, had clarified that he won’t be submitting to Colby Covington’s demand for a fight in July.

The UFC boss, Dana White, was also probably confused about the issue. In the UFC Kansas City post-event press conference, White refrained from giving any further clarity about this issue. He said, “We don’t know what’s gonna happen with that. We are working on all that sh*t right now”.

He also answered one more question about the same where he revealed that the UFC will turn the July event into a ‘Fight Night’ if Edwards doesn’t agree to be on it. When do you feel this fight will finally commence?
