The former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Francis Ngannou, created massive headlines due to his recent estranging from the company. But recently, he showcased that he was still pretty much into the UFC, mentally. Of late, ‘The Predator’ talked to ‘The Schmo’ and revealed his prediction about how far the fight may go depending on Jon Jones‘ fight tactics.

Ngannou iterated, “I think this fight will most likely go into distance unless if (the) Jon Jones (that) show up (in) this fight can TKO. I think he’s gonna take down, wrestle, do some ground and pound”.

However, Ngannou also stated how things might go the other way as well. He iterated, “It can go to distance if Jon Jones fight defensive because then both of them will be like defensive fighter thinking they are very good in that style,”.

Jones Jones revealed how he would celebrate if he wins against Cyril Gane

The coveted Jon ‘Bones’ Jones was well known to UFC fans for one more reason, apart from his stupendous fight skills. It was his nature of partying hard, without any specific reason. Even the noted UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan, once expressed his amazement at Jones winning fights in spite of going to parties, when he should have focused on training.

But, the Heavyweight ‘Bones’ who had returned, was probably ahead of that brash and nonchalant nature that he once possessed. In the pre-UFC 285 press conference, ‘Bones’ had a question from ‘The Schmo’ which asked, “How lit does Jon Jones get getting the victory Saturday evening?”.

Jones answered, “I’m not getting lit at all”. The UFC supremo, Dana White, apparently liked Jones’ reply as he stated, “Amen”.

‘Bones’ continued, “You guys don’t want to see me lit. I’ll just leave it at that.”

Well, looking at Jones’ history, it may be agreed that a lot of fans will also be hoping, like Dana White, that ‘Bones’ sticks to his decision.

Ciryl Gane‘s coach was also one of the appreciators of ‘Bones’ superb in-octagon skills. Despite a three-year break from the sport, Gane‘s coach, Fernand Lopez, didn’t expect Jones to have any kind of ring rust coming into his UFC 285 bout.

In a recent interview with ‘MMA Fighting’, Gane‘s coach stated, “We’re expecting to have the best Jon Jones we’ve ever.”

He further detailed, “the Jon Jones that we had in the second fight with [Daniel Cormier], the one on-point with every aspect of the fight.”
