After getting bashed for his infamous New Year’s Eve incident, a few current and former UFC fighters have raised their voice against Dana White. Previously, White had claimed that the UFC had offered its best deal possible to keep ‘The Predator’ in the promotion. But it was Ngannou who “didn’t want to fight” under the UFC anymore.
The UFC and their head honcho have used a similar narrative multiple times, whenever they need to justify any controversial decision from their end. However, Ngannou feels like he was “held in captivity.” The criticizers were also disgusted by the age-old tactic of blaming it all on the other one, used by the UFC.
The former women’s UFC Featherweight Champion, Cris Cyborg welcomed Ngannou to Dana White’s “didn’t want to fight” club with a tweet.
Congrats @francis_ngannou on making it to “the list” 😂 pic.twitter.com/GkWWnO8AAJ

Former UFC Lightweight Champion, Eddie Alvarez bashed this overused narrative of the UFC with a tweet as well.

Noted Bellator MMA play-by-play commentator, John McCarthy also tweeted and suggested his take on the reason for Ngannou’s departure.
Simply put @francis_ngannou did not get released by the @ufc. He fought out his contract while still being the Heavyweight Champion. Make no mistake, Francis is in no way afraid of anyone fighting in the UFC. He is a man of extraordinary courage who stands for his beliefs

UFC fighter Mike Davis too gave out his opinion through a tweet. He pointed out that simply blaming everything on the other party won’t be of much help to the UFC.
Clearly something must be wrong if a CHAMPION in the ufc isn’t willing to resign and vacates his title.

Many fans might also agree with the narratives presented by the critics. They too might have had enough of this “didn’t want to fight” viewpoint of the UFC.
Francis Ngannou’s coach reveals their contractual negotiation with Dana White
Francis Ngannou’s longtime coach, Erik Nicksick described his meeting with the UFC boss to negotiate Ngannou’s contract. Nicksick appeared on the coveted, ‘The MMA hour’ podcast and stated, “We met Dana and Hunter. Me, Dana, Hunter and Francis, after the fight, we had a great dinner and things were going in the right direction.”
He also talked about Ngannou’s stubbornness to stick to what he believed. Nicksick quoted ‘The Predator’ stating, “If I sign this deal, if I do this without making any change, without doing all the things that I said I was going to do, I’m just another sellout. And I refuse to that.”
After meeting with the UFC to discuss a deal, @Eric_XCMMA recalls what Francis Ngannou told him in the car.

However, Erik had his full belief in Ngannou’s decision, and he knew that ‘The Predator’ would make something better happen. He said, “I’m gonna have this due’s back, a 110%”.

UFC lightweight Rafael Fiziev, is eyeing his co-main event about against fellow fighter, Justin Gaethje at UFC 286. But, amid all this, his former training institute, ‘Phuket Top Team’ accused him of running away from paying his previously due house rent.
Phuket Top Team tweeted this allegation in reply to the UFC fighter, Renato Moicano’s tweet, predicting the outcome of the future fight between Gaethje and Fiziev.
