Conor McGregor reacts to his 10th anniversary with the UFC

‘The Notorious’ completed his tenth year with the world’s biggest MMA promotion, the UFC. His debut fight took place on April 6, 2013, at UFC Fight Night 26 against Max Holloway. And since then, McGregor has proved to the world his mettle as a fighter and he became the biggest and richest MMA star in the world.

UFC commemorated the Irishman’s 10th anniversary with the company by sharing a video on Twitter of Conor McGregor stepping into the weighing machine during the weigh-in event before his debut fight. He reacted to the video to show how ecstatic it was for him. He wrote: “Wow.” Fans will hope that Conor McGregor keeps fighting and entertaining the masses for another few years.

Gilbert Burns wants to avenge Daniel Cormier and “slap” Brock Lesnar

‘Durinho’ is gearing up for one of his biggest UFC fights against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 287. He made an appearance on the media day for the event last evening and talked about the positive side of the WWE-UFC merger deal.

Following that, Burns decided to take a shot at former UFC and WWE champion Brock Lesnar and sent a warning to him. He said, “It’s a good opportunity to slap Brock Lesnar in the face too, right? That is a good opportunity.” He then provided his reasons behind his wish to slap ‘The Beast Incarnate’ by recalling the instance when Lesnar shoved UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier after the latter called him out at UFC 226.

“I never met him but he’s [Lesnar] lucky I haven’t met him. [But] I want to slap him because he cannot push DC [Daniel Cormier] like that when he came all the way there in the Octagon,” said the 5th-ranked welterweight fighter.

Jorge Masvidal and Kevin Holland get into a verbal altercation in a hotel lobby

Welterweight stars Jorge Masvidal and Kevin Holland are both fighting on the main card of the UFC 287 pay-per-view, but not against each other. However, both fighters got into a heated altercation in the lobby of the hotel, hosting the fighters for the upcoming event. Video clips from their hotel scuffle have gone viral on social media.

The video shows that none of the fighters engaged in any form of physicality. It was just a verbal fight, for which the security had to intervene and separate the two fighters. The details regarding the incident are still unknown. Fortunately, neither Holland nor Masvidal attempted to throw a punch at each other ahead of their respective fights this weekend.
