It seems like the air of uncertainty surrounding Conor McGregor’s return is slowly diminishing. The Irishman recently shared a post on Instagram with pictures of one of his recent sparring sessions. However, the exciting part of the post was his claim about giving a sample for drug testing to Jeff Novitzky.

“Submitted my stuff to Novitzky. Ball rolling,” said Conor McGregor while talking about how much he enjoyed his recent sparring session. It seems like he has finally entered the USADA’s testing pool. Furthermore, he even sent a message to his possible opponent, Michael Chandler, as well.

‘The Notorious’ seems excited about fighting Michael Chandler, whom he believes will be quick work inside the Octagon. “See you soon you little light work b*tch,” McGregor added. We will have to wait and see if the USADA results can confirm his return in the not-so-distant future.

Michael Chandler calls out Nate Diaz

With the fight against Conor McGregor hanging in the balance, Michael Chandler recently issued a call-out to another UFC and MMA icon. During a recent appearance on ‘The MMA Hour’, ‘Iron’ took the opportunity to call out former UFC fighter Nate Diaz. Chandler said, “There are definitely some moments where I’m like, ‘Hey man is Conor coming back, is he just trolling us all, is he a real fighter anymore, and then you think, ‘Who’s a real fight?’ Nate Diaz is a real fighter, I’m a real fighter.”

Michael Chandler claims he has always wanted to fight Nate Diaz just because he respects him a lot. Moreover, he stated that he’d love to put on a show against him with Diaz’s inside-the-Octagon antics at play. “I’d love to get smacked by him and flipped off by him in the cage, and that would be fun,” said Chandler. However, that fight seems unlikely to happen since Diaz is no longer in the UFC.

Shields failed to appear in court after a summon was issued on August 9th. As such, an arrest warrant was issued on the very same day. However, Jake Shields is yet to be detained or taken into custody for those charges. In addition to that, he also refrained from making any comments or providing any statements regarding that matter. We will have to wait and see what unfolds in the days to come.
