The former UFC Lightweight Champion, Charles Oliveira, had a rude awakening at the UFC 280. ‘Do Bronx’, his rival, Islam Makhachev, submitted inside the second round the touted favorite to win the UFC 280 main event. But it’s been four months since then and Oliveira has risen back from his defeat. Reportedly, he was also eyeing his next bout.

Recently, ‘Do bronx’ talked to the named combat sports coverage house, ‘Sherdog’; he revealed, “It’s true that we are negotiating to face Dariush, who is coming from a gigantic sequence of wins”.

He also stated, “My managers Jorge Patino and Diego Lima are taking care of that”. It’s pertinent to note that Beneil Dariush is also on an eight-fight win streak currently. It would make this possible matchup even more exciting for the fans.

Islam Makhachev revealed his UFC 284 blueprint to defeat Alexander Volkanovski

UFC fans are already counting down the moments before the mega main event of UFC 284 involving the UFC Lightweight Champ, Islam Makhachev, and the UFC’s no.1 pound-for-pound fighter, Alexander Volkanovski.

Recently, during the pre-bout press conference, Makhachev was asked by a reporter about his wish to finish ‘Volk’ with a knockout. The reporter questioned, “Why take that unnecessary risk [of trying to KO ‘Volk’] when you see certain great fighters like Kamaru Usman take that risk and it didn’t work out?”

The current UFC Lightweight Champ answered, No, this is my goal. Because Alex is a great striker, I want to knock him out there and take his place. To be pound-for-pound king”. It was evident that Makhachev was aiming to beat Volkanovski at his own game so that no one could raise a question after his win.

Conor McGregor chills out with Chris Brown

UFC fans had a huge sigh of relief as the noted star of the game, Conor McGregor, was finally making his way back to the UFC. But, The UFC supremo, Dana White, announced that ‘Mystic Mac’ will appear as a coach in the upcoming season of TUF. However, McGregor continued to showcase his known love for social media.

Recently, the Irishman posted an Instagram update that showcased him in a gleeful mood with the noted American singer, Chris Brown. McGregor also captioned his post, “Me and the homie @chrisbrownofficial 🇮🇪 #propermadnight #welcometoireland”

It’s pertinent to note that Brown had also backed McGregor after his infamous 2018 ‘hand-truck thrown into bus’ incident. Apparently, the duo share quite a good relationship.
