Israel Adesanya seems to be getting into a brand-new feud
Looking at the UFC 287 after-bout scenes, many would say that the coveted rivalry between Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya had probably reached its conclusion. However, feuds just don’t seem to leave ‘Izzy’ alone. Despite living in New Zealand, Adesanya is pretty much attached to his African roots. He also tends to represent the African community more in his UFC appearances. But this character of Adesanya was bashed by the known South African Middleweight, Dricus du Plessis.
‘Stillknocks’ derided Adesanya, labeling himself as a much better representative of Africa in UFC. However, Adesanya didn’t take it too well. He also took an unnamed jibe at du Plessis in his UFC 287 post-event press conference stating he would “whoop his *ss” and “gladly drag his carcass across South Africa” after killing him in a fight.
‘Stillknocks’ also showed no tendency to back down from this feud as he put out a tweet addressing Adesanya. It read, “So you won’t say my name, that’s smart you better not. I don’t need your airtime at all, I have my whole continent of AFRICA behind me. Go enjoy your very spectacular victory at home in New Zealand. We are Africa we fear nothing.“

Do you think this feud will drag itself to the Octagon? Also, who do you see as a better representative of Africa in the UFC? Du Plessis or Adesanya?
Colby Covington bashed Leon Edwards’ reluctancy with a nationalist tweet
Colby Covington wasn’t ready to miss out on a title shot when the UFC was with him. Lately, ‘Chaos’ revealed that the UFC had confirmed about stripping the current UFC Welterweight champ Leon Edwards of the title if he refuses a title fight against him.
Of late, Covington took a jibe at ‘Rocky’ sighting his hesitancy to accept a title fight against him. ‘Chaos’ took to Twitter and put a tweet addressing Edwards, which read, “Don’t want to give me a title shot mumble mouth? I recall the British not wanting to give Americans our freedom either… So we took it. See you in July junior”.

Notably, Covington had also mentioned that he would probably be locking horns against Edwards in July. However, there was no official confirmation of this from the UFC authorities.
Jorge Masvidal responded to Gilbert Burns’ post-UFC 287 allegations
Despite being unable to finish off his opponent, Gilbert Burns, had done enough to win a unanimous decision victory in his UFC 287 bout. His victory also had his opponent, the noted ‘BMF’ of the UFC, Jorge Masvidal, calling an end to his prolonged fight career. A lot of MMA world personalities and fans lauded the superb career of ‘Gambred’ post his retirement. But his opponent, Burns, had different opinions as he placed greasing allegations on him.
But, recently Masvidal clarified his take on the incident while he visited ‘The MMA Hour’ podcast. Masvidal stated, “There’s a commission. There was, like, three commissioners backstage,” intending that he wouldn’t have been spared if he committed such an act.

‘Gamebred’ further opinionated, “Maybe I’m the sweatiest motherf***er he knows, but I’ve never greased. I’ve never put on anything in my life for forever. I’ve never done that in my life. Maybe he should blame his technique for fu***ng being shi**y”.

Well, there have been no other sources with such allegations against Masvidal apart from Burns’. Hence, a lot might view Masvidal as the right one here. But could there be some truth to Burns’ accusations as well?
