Paddy Pimblett and Ariel Helwani have been attacking each other, lately. The famed sports journalist aggravated the ‘Baddy’ during his last match in UFC 282. However, the problem stemmed from a past incident that dates back to 2015. In response to Pimblett’s comments, Helwani made a video where he addressed the feud from the roots. Surprisingly, the roots were attached to Pimblett’s manager, who once almost got knocked out by Brian Stann.
Helwani addressed his interaction with Graham Boylan, in the recent episode of MMA Hour. However, the UFC world was in shock when the journalist revealed that the manager had to be warned by the MMA legend, 7 years ago.

Brian Stann almost knocked Graham Boylan out
Ariel Helwani has been in a feud with Paddy Pimblett and his manager for a while now. The famed journalist and podcaster made a video just to respond to Pimblett’s attack. However, Helwani didn’t fail to address the root of the problem. He believed that it was Graham Boylan, Pimblett’s manager, who was behind it all. Furthermore, this led him to recall the moment when he had an interaction with the manager.
The Canadian American MMA journalist recalled the incident from 2015, when Boylan repeatedly bumped into him. Ultimately, it was the MMA legend, Brian Stann, who rescued Helwani with a warning to Boylan.
Helwani said, “Now, his manager, who I think is actually responsible for a lot of this, who doesn’t like me. Who doesn’t like me stemming from the time I saw him back in 2015, in Sweden, with Brian Stann at a bar. And he was stumbling and all over the bar and kept bumping into me, in Stockholm, four five times. And finally, Brian Stann had to say to him ‘You do that one more time, I’m gonna knock you out’. That’s the first time I ever had any interaction with Graham Boylan.”
Furthermore, the 40-years-old journalist was still confused about what stemmed the issue. Nonetheless, he claimed that the entire incident was very bizarre.

The feud seemingly began during the post-fight interview in the cage. As Joe Rogan pulled Pimblett closer for a talk, the rising fighter said, “But know what, Joe, have you consulted me manager and see how much you’re paying me for this interview?”
Later on, the fighter called Helwani a ‘rodent’. He said, “You’re doing it to put money in your pocket Ariel, you little rodent…” Without a doubt the issue turned giant, with the journalist making an hour-long video only to respond to the attack.
