Pimblett had fired shots at the Montreal-born Journalist and called him a “rodent”. Ariel Helwani responded with an hour-long YouTube video and shared incisive pieces of evidence against all the allegations made against him. He even released audio clips from the Patt McAfee show to back his claims. Pimblett had passed some snide remarks at Ariel Helwani after winning at UFC 282. While giving an interview at the Octagon with Joe Rogan, he said, “how much you’re paying me for this interview.”

Ariel Helwani has been very professional in his response to ‘The Baddy’s’ accusations. He released a video and presented audio clips from Patt McAfee’s show to prove that he had not talked about Paddy Pimblett.
Majority of fans have also shown their support for the Canadian journalist amidst the feud.

Ariel Helwani thanked his friend ‘No Context’, a Twitter user, for sending him the clip from Pat McAfee show. In his YouTube Video, He said,
“Shout out to my good friend no context who found the clip of me referencing this the one that made him fly off the handle the one where he was like uh you this then he said all these people were saying that I said X Y and Z.

Paddy Pimblett had called Ariel Helwani a rat on one of his podcast shows with Dana White. He had accused Ariel Helwani of making money from fighters and asking them for money for featuring on his podcast. He also accused Helwani of disrespecting fighters.
