Old habits die hard, and it seems Dana White is unwilling to give up the thrill of such an old habit. Despite his old, insidious habit, he is devoted to his work and always keeps a close eye on UFC events. Thus, his recent absence from the UFC 291 press conference left the fans dumbfounded and gave rise to multiple rumors. Where had been the UFC lynchpin?
The UFC President is a man of many talents, but he also can’t resist the charm of rolling the dice, be it on a gambling table or taking shrewd business risks. When he is not busy handling official business, the images of him spending long hours at the gambling table are a familiar sight. However, this time, the 54-year-old went too far and caved into his old habit while the UFC 291 festivities went underway.

The UFC head honcho’s obsession has even landed him in trouble, as the major Las Vegas casinos have imposed restrictions on him. He reportedly once swooped in $7 million in a night. He has also made some poor bets, as he once lost $1 million on a boxing bet. This time, the odds were modest as he sat down with his son, Aidan White.
Notably, the American businessperson is currently in Italy on vacation, as reported by journalist Mike Bohn. Hence, this resulted in his absence from the UFC PPV event. He turned to his Instagram handle and recently shared an image of him sitting on a yacht along with his 21-year-old son. What grabbed the fans’ attention was the stacks of dollar bills and the cards on a green gambling table.
Further, he captioned, “when you are supposed to be on vacation BUT ur a SICK F*ck!! @aidan_white_”
White couldn’t resist falling back into his habit despite enjoying such a serene Italian landscape as a backdrop. This habit has even troubled his ardent fans, and one even went to the extent of offering him a helping hand.
Is Dana White close to quitting gambling?
A fan who recently launched a website to help people quit gambling suggested White try his ways. The keen appeal didn’t make a dent in White’s obsession with gambling as he declared, “i don’t wanna quit but thanks for thinking of me.”
