Jon Jones is widely considered the greatest fighter of all time. After a hiatus of three long years, he came back to the UFC octagon to fight against the mighty Ciryl Gane. Within two minutes and four seconds into the opening round, the 36-year-old trapped his opponent in a guillotine choke, which compelled Gane to tap out of the bout. Soon after the fight, ‘Bones’ called out the former two-time UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic. Now, Bones and Miocic are set to lock horns at UFC 295.

The monumental clash between the two great fighters will take place on November 11 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Even after being a great fighter, Jones admits that he is afraid of his upcoming showdown against the 41-year-old. Jon Jones makes a huge confession

The UFC heavyweight champion was talking on the OverDogs podcast. During the conversation, Jones said that a person should stop doing something if they do not feel anything about it. Later, he revealed how he felt about facing the former UFC heavyweight champion. He said, “At this point, I still get really nervous, man. I have nightmares about my opponents.

He added, “About every hour, Stipe Miocic will cross my mind. He will cross my mind. I could be having a drink, you name it, he crosses my mind. I could be at my kid’s volleyball game and I thinking about Stipe.Talking further about the topic, Jones revealed that every fighter goes through a lot of thinking before actually stepping into the Octagon.

He believes that at the end of all the mental and physical struggles, all a fighter needs to do is to conquer the bouts. When fans came across Jones’ words, they were worried about his upcoming showdown. Some of them found it hard to believe that the mighty Jon Jones could be afraid of someone.

One of the fans mentioned that if Miocic could beat Jones, he would be the greatest heavyweight fighter in the history of the promotion.
