Mike Tyson is 57 years old and has already achieved a lot of success during his prime. His opponent Jake Paul is just 27 and a young YouTuber trying to achieve success in professional boxing. The social media star has not faced any huge names inside the ring but managed to knock out fighters who have below 10 fights. However, this time the ‘Problem Child’ has his opponent as a boxing legend.
Bisping feels Tyson can knock out Paul, however not without facing dire consequences himself. He said, “…Dethrone him and be the first person to beat him and do it at 58 years old! It’s a challenge for Mike Tyson. Even though the doctors saying listen you could potentially die okay? You’re gonna have brain damage if he takes some heavy heavy shots at that age. He doesn’t care though. Because of course, he’s been taking risks his entire life. But could he knock out Jake Paul? 100%. He’s got the power to knock out Jake Paul But how long can he sustain that kind of attack?” This is the real concern that the former Middleweight champion posed to his viewers.
But why has Mike Tyson decided to fight at this age? Different reports suggest that ‘Iron Mike’ will make almost $20 million from the fight. So is this legendary boxer fighting because of the prospect of money? Michael Bisping answered this as well.

Why is Mike Tyson accepting the fight?
The world-class athlete is known to be an individual who welcomes challenges. The 57-year-old voluntarily accepted to fight 27-year-old Jake Paul but why? According to Bisping, he is already risking his health by agreeing to this fight even if he is successful at knocking out the young fighter.
Bisping agreed that ‘Iron’ Mike was not fighting for free and conveyed that the money being made in this fight was more than adequate for the legend. However, this was not the basis on which he agreed to fight. Bisping said, “I think Mike Tyson’s doing this because he misses the thrill of it. When you are away from combat sports for so long, you know what I mean. It’s still in you. Still got that old dog deep inside, and he wants to go out and remind the world.”
