Mike Tyson’s Lethal Body Shot Spells Trouble for Jake Paul Is What Michael Jai White Believes

Finally, the battle of the decade is about to happen! Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul is one of the most enticing fights that is about to take place soon and the hype surrounding it is nothing short of a phenomenon. Fans and veterans are all busy conversing about the fight’s results and what it can entail for both the fighters. Some think Paul will win and others are sure that Tyson will massacre Paul.

However, what does the actor who portrayed Tyson in the 1995 film, Tyson, think? Michael Jai White, an actor, and multiple martial arts expert, gave his perspective on the much-awaited fight recently.  

Michael Jai White is concerned for Jake Paul

While talking to Rampage Jackson and Luke Rockhold on the ‘JAXXON PODCAST’, the 56-year-old actor with a black belt in Kyokushin Karate, gave his verdict on how Jake Paul would endure the match. He revealed that Tyson could injure Jake Paul badly and win the fight. During the interaction, Rampage Jackson asked the actor, “As we talk about Tyson though, What are your thoughts on Tyson versus Jake Paul?”

White was sure in his verdict as he answered, “I think probably he [Tyson] would be a little much for Jake Paul Because I mean Jake is not that much bigger man and Tyson was always used to much bigger guys. What’s Jake Paul gonna do if Tyson hits him in the body? I just don’t think he’s ready for that. When you get hit by somebody who’s thrown that punch a million times it’s just different.”

‘Iron’ Mike’s physical size is far bigger than the ‘Problem Child’s’ physique and this is going to pose a big threat to the Youtuber. He also gave the same opinion in a different interview, and his perspective got stronger when he got to know the respective weights of the two fighters.

White declares one body shot from Mike Tyson would be the end

During an interview with Vlad TV, White discussed the fight that is scheduled for July 20th and declared that Tyson would end Paul easily. “I don’t see how Jake pulls this off. I see Mike Tyson punching him in the body, and I don’t see how Jake stops that,” said the actor.

Since he is a professional fighter and he portrayed the role of Tyson in the 1995 movie, he knows the strength of Tyson’s body shots. “Mike hits him in the body; the body [doesn’t] move that much; I don’t see how Jake survives a body attack personally,” said White. Meanwhile, the host also informed White that Tyson weighed 220 lbs while Paul was 200 lbs. This made his perspective stronger and he declared that it was worse than he thought.

The actor also mentioned that Tyson’s age was not going to be an issue and he gave the example of Tyson’s 2020 fight against Roy Jones Jr. White said, “Roy Jones [has] skills that Jake will never have, even at that age. Jake’s got a punch but Jake has fought really tiny guys in comparison to him… I don’t see Jake doing much against Mike.”
