Mike Perry’s relationship with his partner, Latory Gonzalez, is truly unique. The couple first met at an MMA event, and their connection quickly grew, eventually leading to marriage. An interesting aspect of their relationship is that Gonzalez has also played a significant role in Perry’s training camps, even serving as his trainer. Fans have often seen her in his corner during his fights, highlighting the close-knit nature of their partnership both inside and outside the Octagon. Gonzalez has been with Mike Perry since 2020, bringing her wrestling background into the world of combat sports.

But do you know all of this wouldn’t have been possible if Jon Jones hadn’t taken the initiative? In a video posted by Dirty Boxing on their Instagram page, the former UFC fighter shared the entire story. Perry said, “She was wearing her leopard skirt. And she was cute. It was automatic. But here’s the thing Jon Jones was there. And then he grabbed her arm and grabbed my arm and then I just picked her up. That’s funny. I liked her brown skin.”

Now going by Perry’s last name, she has built a strong social media presence with over 30K followers, showcasing her growing influence. The couple tied the knot in 2023, and their marriage announcement was met with overwhelming support from fans and fellow fighters within the combat sports community. Latory Perry hails from Texas and graduated from Lubbock Christian University. Like her husband, Mike Perry, she has a background in martial arts. Initially, she trained in both boxing and wrestling but eventually shifted her focus entirely to wrestling, leaving boxing behind as she pursued this path further in her career.
