Is Mike Perry just making excuses, or is there truth to his claims against BKFC and McGregor?

Mike Perry just made a new friend. It’s a very unique circumstance when two opponents who fought each other, and seemingly with some bad blood, become friends. That is what seems to be happening between Jake Paul, and Mike Perry. The paid had a boxing bout last weekend where Perry lost and was reprimanded by BKFC co-owner Conor McGregor for it. ‘The Notorious’ even declared that he would fire Perry from the promotion via an X post. Now, McGregor’s move seems to have united Paul and Perry.

‘Platinum’ spoke about the improbability of him being kicked to the curb by the BKFC with Jake Paul. Let’s take a look at their conversations related to this bout and how they ended up on cordial terms.

During an appearance on the BS w/Jake Paul, the two discussed their cruiserweight bout. Jake Paul also asked him what he thought about McGregor’s ensuing threat after the former UFC star’s defeat. McGregor took to X and posted that he would fire Perry from BKFC for the dismal performance. When Logan Paul was asked about this after his brother’s fight, he was disappointed in McGregor as well and reprimanded him.

As for Perry, the BKFC star said, “ I think it’s just you know he does that he tweets, and he gets people to attach to something.” He revealed that since ‘Mystic Mac’ was one of the most famous fighters of UFC and a partial owner of BKFC, the fans took his word as the Bible. He explained, “Whatever he says he knows that we had that moment that night in history. And it was what people were talking about.”

Perry explained that he said something outrageous so that people would tune in to what he was saying. Lastly, he added, “But let’s be honest like everybody wants to see me fight bare knuckle again you know.”

Perry is undeniably at the peak of his powers in BKFC. He is their key selling point as of now, and he knows it. So, the welterweight did not seem all too stressed about McGregor’s ultimatum.

He even gave a new proposition to Perry. Paul said, “We will hire you into Betr as a partnership and give you some sort of role.” He still was not confirmed about what job he would be giving to the fighter, but he was adamant about getting him on board with his company.

Perry already has his own company called the Dirty Boxing Championship. Along with that, he is also a part owner of BKFC. On top of that, Jake Paul is also ready to offer him a position in his own company and seems to have become his friend. Do you think Perry should continue fighting in the BKFC or join Betr?
