Michael ‘Venom’ Page wants all the action

Michael ‘Venom’ Page has a devastating 21-2 professional record in his MMA career. Once he became a free agent, many promotions leaped for him. He even faced off against PFL champion Cedric Doumbe, leading everyone to believe that he’s being signed by the promotion.

Soon, Dana White surprised the world by announcing the signing of MVP by the UFC and his first fight against Kevin Holland at UFC 299. To prepare for it, Page is taking help from Aspinall, who is coming off a win against Sergei Pavlovich. The two posed for pictures which the 36-year-old posted on his Instagram page.

Earlier, the fighter also appeared for an interview with UFC veteran Michael Bisping. The two Michaels seemed to have hit it off with one another. Here, Page spoke about his ambitions in the UFC and how he’d like to go for Leon Edwards‘ welterweight gold.

However great his ambition and skill, Page still has a long way to go. Leon Edwards is perhaps currently the most celebrated star from the UK. He’s on a winning streak like no other and has shut down opponents one after another. So, if Page thinks a fight between him and Edwards would be a great spectacle, he’s not wrong.

“. . .imagine me and Leon Edwards, you know, Leon Edwards, hopefully still has the belt and I think he will. He’s an exceptional, you know, exceptional fighter.” He told Bisping. “I come in, create some big noise, get a few big knockouts under my belt and then go for the belt and imagine me and him in the UK trying to fill out a stadium somewhere. I think we can make that happen and that would be incredible,” said the former Bellator welterweight title challenger.
