Michael ‘Venom’ Page has finally arrived in the UFC and is ready to take center stage. Page, considered by many to be the flashiest striker in MMA, is excited for his new beginning. He recently took to his YouTube channel to share his plans before his debut at UFC 299 against Kevin Holland.

MVP spent nine years in the Bellator and is one of the biggest names in the sport. He announced earlier this year that he would be a free agent in July, and fans have been waiting for the UFC to pick him up. With ‘Venom’ officially signed by the UFC, let’s find out what the 36-year-old has in mind after his recent move.

Leon Edwards successfully defended his welterweight title against Colby Covington at UFC 296. However, ‘Rocky’ might soon have to face MVP as the 36-year-old wants a fight with the champion. In his recent interview on YouTube, ‘Venom’ is seen speaking to Kaz Crossley and Ollie Sutherland on the K.O. show.

The entire interview is very candid, where Page said: “You know one thing I’m definitely looking forward to and I kind of already seen it in my head is let’s, let’s bring the belt to London. Let’s bring the fight to England. Leon Edwards is still a champion. MVP we both from the U.K. You know I mean, I got a lot of respect for him. We are cool, we talk, but we’re prize fighters at the end of the day. It’s just business.”

He continued, “For me, it’s just the magnitude of the fight. Imagine being in the U.K., UFC is in the U.K. But it’s two English Fighters it’s just unheard of. Shout out to Tom Aspinall on his win as well… Obviously, there’s going to be a journey for me to get there and I’m just excited to just even do that. Like I said, I am not overlooking anybody. Everybody that steps in the cage with me, I’m going to be at my absolute best.”

As MVP prepares for his debut fight against Kevin Holland at UFC 299, it will be interesting to see if he gets a title shot against Leon Edwards. The welterweight division is one of the toughest divisions in the UFC, and with the entry of  ‘Venom,’ the dimensions of the division have changed completely. Will he be able to carry his Bellator form into the UFC?

Dana White made a huge announcement after UFC 296, where he made it clear that Page will be facing Holland on his UFC debut. Holland will be a formidable opponent for the 36-year-old Englishman. ‘Trailblazer’ last fought against Jack Della Maddalena at UFC Fight Night 227 (UFC Noche) in September and came up short. The 31-year-old will look to get back to winning ways when he enters the Octagon against ‘Venom.’
