Significantly, the ‘Notorious’ will step in the shoes of a coach as he faces another formidable foe, Michael Chandler. While the news of the return of the Irishman took the central stage, his opponent appears confident about their upcoming clash. Further, the mouth-watering TUF season promises the trash talking, the violence that will ultimately lead up to a carnage fight between the two fearsome knockout artists.

‘Iron’ took to his social media handles as he shared his reactions to the announcement. Besides expressing his excitement about the upcoming clash, he also cleared his intention to sweep the season.

Michael Chandler expresses his elation about competing against McGregor

The 36-year-old came out confident in his reaction video. Further, the Missouri-born fighter stated, “Boom. There you have it. Announced team Chandler versus Team McGregor on The Ultimate Fighter. And then fighting later this year.”

Following this, the former Bellator champion mentioned he wanted the fight against ‘Mystic Mac’. Thus, he admitted, “Conor was the fight that I wanted. Conor has expressed interest in wanting to fight me. And now here we are gonna be on ESPN, my team versus his team.”

“Competing every single day. The competition starts right now. Chandler versus McGregor starts right now,” Chandler added later on.

Chandler picks the winner of the 31st TUF season

Subsequently, the 23-8 record holder put to usher in those young men and women. In addition, Kill Cliff FC team representative claimed, “Imparting my wisdom upon them and every single fight matters. Because I’m going to win this competition, first of all.”
