Conor McGregor has an illustrious fighting career. His talent for trash-talking may be the only aspect that surpasses his fighting skills. McGregor is currently laying off battle due to a leg injury that happened during his bout against Dustin Poirier. However notoriously, the Irishman still throws shots at his rivals on the internet. In a candid interview during the Anthony Joshua boxing match, McGregor called out the popular Youtuber KSI. He also expressed his interest in fighting Nate Diaz and Justin Gaethje.

However, the next confirmed bout that McGregor has is with Michael Chandler. Naturally, this makes the Lightweight fighter the Irishman’s next target. Amidst his complications with USADA, McGregor had previously confirmed a bout with Chandler in December this year. However, the duo has been setting off fireworks outside the ring, with one going after the other in quick succession. In the latest iteration of events, ‘Iron’ Michael Chandler took to Instagram to set the score straight.

It all began with ‘Notorious’ taking to social media to declare his superiority despite his injured state. The Irishman, in a very direct post, wrote, “I’ve industrial steel in my leg now, and I’ve long natural steel in the shoulders and elbows and knuckles of the fist. I’m over 3/4 steel. And steel crushes iron. Crushes the little bones in irons face. Out with the iron you little bosu ball motivational speakin handbag”. Cleverly building on the idea of metal used in his recovery, Conor declared that he was leagues above Chandler.
