Will Conor McGregor ever step back into the Octagon, or is his fighting career over?

Conor McGregor‘s comeback story is a whole saga with ups and downs and new shockers. He hasn’t graced the Octagon in over three years after suffering that infamous leg snap against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. His next supposed outing met a similar fate with him pulling out of a scheduled bout at UFC 303 against Michael Chandler due to a ‘pinky-toe’ injury. Now Chandler has moved on after waiting for almost two years and is going to fight Charles Oliveira at UFC 309.

However, does this mean that ‘Iron Mike’ will never consider McGregor again? Will their unfinished business from The Ultimate Fighter 31 not see the light of day? Hold on tight because Chandler just answered that!

Conor McGregor’s comeback story was almost seeing its end until the Dubliner bumped into Dan Hooker at BKFC’s latest outing in Spain. This brief meeting sparked an idea in McGregor’s mind regarding his comeback opponent and both the UFC stars seemed to be positive about this prospect. But it looks like UFC head honcho Dana White might be on board with it as well.

During a press conference for Dana White’s Contender Series, White was asked about his thoughts on the pairing. While initially dismissing the idea, he later suggested that it could be an intriguing fight. He said, ” “Yeah, obviously, that would be a great fight. I like that I did not announce the fight.”
