Michael Chandler, in a recent video posted on his YouTube channel, believes that there are a couple of truths and a lie in the announcement Conor McGregor made about his return. He is sure of the fact that June 29th, UFC 302, will be the date of the fight with him as the confirmed opponent.

However, Chandler doesn’t believe that it will be a middleweight bout, even though he agreed to the proposal of a 185-pound contest. He said, “Two truths. June 29th International Fight Week, truth. Michael Chandler, truth. Lie, 185, maybe. We don’t know.”

Even though he’s unsure about his belief that the fight may not take place at 185 pounds, ‘Iron’ mentioned that Conor McGregor’s laugh at the end of that announcement in the video seemed like the Irishman was probably bluffing.

“The laugh [of McGregor] makes it more of a troll situation, but I’m excited about it. It’s going to be good,” Michael Chandler added. Nevertheless, He also revealed that he is on a mission as he looks towards the fight against McGregor. Let’s have a closer look at that front.

Chandler is on a mission to retire ‘The Notorious’

When it came to the venue of the June 29th event, Michael Chandler claimed that there were a couple of big places where the UFC could host that event. The first one is the Sphere, where Dana White has promised to host Noche UFC 2 and the other one is the 60,000+ seater Allegiant Stadium.

Yet, Chandler claimed that he wouldn’t be surprised if the UFC decided to host the show in T-Mobile Arena. He further stated, “Not sure of the venue yet. Obviously, there’s a ton of venues that could happen in June in Las Vegas. The possibility of the Sphere, the possibility of Allegiant Stadium, and obviously the go-to of T-Mobile [Arena].”

Regardless of where it takes place, ‘Iron’ is fixated on his one goal – to end Conor McGregor’s career. He plans to finish the Irishman within a couple of rounds, hoping that it will be one of the most exciting days of his life. “It’s going to be a big card, it’s going to be fun and I finish Conor within the first two rounds and after that, pretty much end his career,” Michael Chandler added.
