Michael Bisping, a pioneer for UK MMA, joined the legendary duo of Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik at UFC 271. However, his outing didn’t go too smoothly as many fans pointed out the bias in Bisping’s PPV event commentary. However, ‘The Count’ clarified that he did his best and called the fights as he saw.
Lots of people saying I has biased commentary. That’s crazy. I called it like I saw it. Big opening round for Izzy. Then real close rounds after that, but I had Izzy winning most. 5 was robs best round. 2 probably went to him also. Close fight, very technical, well done to both!

The former UFC middleweight champion was favoring Israel Adesanya to win the first four rounds. He stressed that Robert Whittaker was losing the fight. Even in the final round, ‘The Count’ said Whittaker needed a finish to win the fight. Although the judges agreed with Bisping, the fans saw the fight to be closer.

A fan tried to poke him for his lack of vision; The British fighter has a retinal detachment in his right eye, and he can’t see through it. Bisping made light work of him with his humorous response- “I only 50% of it to be fair.”
Though fans always make fun of his eye, Bisping takes it well; This was one of the examples of it.

Joe Rogan pulled out of his duties in the commentators’ booth at UFC 271, and ‘The Count’ had to step in on short notice. Even though Bisping has worked as a commentator on UFC Fight Night events and Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, it was his first time as a commentator on a PPV.

The former middleweight champion did his best in the given time. However, calling the fights live is always a tough ask, especially when the fight is this close.
