Merab Dvalishvili recently walked away unscathed from a horrific car crash but that didn’t stop the MMA fandom from taking jabs at his potential clash against Sean O’Malley! According to an update shared on X by Championship Rounds, Dvalishvili was involved in a serious accident but thankfully, everyone walked away safe and sound.

In the video shared with the post, Dvalishvili revealed “I am in New York for one day, couple of hours and I got into a huge accident. I was in Uber and our car got hit by some other cars. I was sitting here (shows damaged side), thank god, I’m okay…”. The video also reveals the extent of the damage suffered by the vehicles involved in the crash and, remarkably, the fighter and others weren’t seriously hurt.

But the fans were more interested in taking shots at Dvalishvili’s feud with the UFC bantamweight champion, Sean O’Malley. The two men have been involved in a heated build-up to a clash that began when O’Malley ended Dvalishvili’s friend and training partner, Aljamain Sterling’s title reign at UFC 292 in 2023.
