Julianna Peña is one such name that has cast a shadow of intimidation in the UFC’s women’s bantamweight division. With a professional MMA record of 12 victories and just 5 losses, ‘The Venezuelan Vixen’ has conquered the hearts of the majority of the MMA realm. But do you know about the man who has supported Pena in her journey, ensuring her legendary status in the world of mixed martial arts?

Julianna Pena’s husband, Luis Alejandre, has given the maximum support to the former women’s bantamweight champion in her professional MMA career. The couple have been married to each other for a while now. But unlike many other celebrity couples, Pena and Alejandre decided to keep their private life to themselves. That’s probably the reason why Alejandre doesn’t have any social media accounts.

However, that didn’t stop his fame to reach great heights. After all, he is one of the most successful Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu trainers and practitioners. He began his training when he was just 19 and secured a black belt in 2016. His fame and expertise have brought him up as the man who instructs defensive tactics to various police agencies.  And just like a well-known martial artist, Luis Alejandre opened up his own gym and began teaching at the Stronghold Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Located in Nashville Ave, Illinois, this BJJ academy offers training not just to adults and children but also to police officers. And as if BJJ wasn’t enough, they also teach Muay Thai.

Coming back to Julianna Pena and her husband, do you know about their children? Well, the official site for the Stronghold Jiu-Jitsu Academy features their daughter’s name right on top.

The family life of Luis Alejandre and Julianna Pena

Pena and Alejandre have one daughter named Isabella Alejandre. She is nicknamed ‘Boss Baby’, and has been traversing the mats ever since she was old enough to roll out. When she reached the age of 2, little Isabella asked for a gi. Of course, she exploited her father’s vast knowledge and got personal training from Alejandre. ‘Boss Baby’ has proven her fighter bloodline on several occasions. But there was one instance that got quite a bit of attention.

Back when Julianna Pena was set to fight Amanda Nunes at UFC 277, the Brazilian mixed martial artist took her daughter to the stage during the official face-off. But it was ‘Boss Baby’ who secured the maximum attention as she mimicked her mother taking up a stance and facing her opponent. Isabella has often asked her father that she would strive for a black belt. “Daddy, I want to get my blackbelt when I grow up!” is what she has been telling her dad. On top of that, she was also the sole inspiration behind the family’s gym.

The baby gorilla logo represents that there will be a time when she will turn from a baby gorilla to a strong adult gorilla. Now, as Pena gets ready to face Raquel Pennington at the co-main event for UFC 307, she will indeed receive the highest magnitude of support from her loving husband and beautiful daughter. Do you think Julianna Pena will secure a win against Pennington? Let us know what you think in the comments down below.
