In a past interview with Teen Vogue from 2014, Quizon had revealed, “My sister is 10 years older than me and she was going the professional route. I wanted to be just like her”
She won her first contest at age 10 and secured a sponsorship at age 12 and hasn’t looked back since. She holds the distinction of competing in various top-tier surfing contests around the world which include the Fijian Women’s Pro Surfing Championship and West Australian Margaret Pro Surfing Championship.
