He was an undefeated lightweight for a decade before he fought his last fight and was brutally injured. However, the resilient fighter seemed not to be bothered and gave a shrugging emoji and a picture of him with blood, bruises, and cuts. His bravery is in his bloodstream and he is born with it.

Mateusz Rębecki was born on 3rd October 1992 in Gryfice, Poland. He is a Polish national and a world-class MMA fighter who has been a pro since 2014. He specializes in Jiu-Jitsu and is an expert fighter with a mountain of experience. ‘Chinczyk’ is currently signed with Berserkers Team Szczecin and was also undefeated in First Exclusive Night which is one of the biggest federations organizing MMA in Europe.

He started combat sports when he was a child and even though he went to college, he did not finish it to pursue his MMA dreams. Rębecki surprisingly was also a bodyguard before smashing his opponents inside the Octagon.

The prominent Polish mixed martial artist is known for his skills in the lightweight division. He began his martial arts journey by training in various disciplines but ultimately chose to focus on Jiu Jitsu and wrestling, honing his skills there.

He has performed magnificently at UFC with a 3 fight-winning streak in the promotion before he lost to Ferreira. Before that, he was a part of Fight Exclusive Night where he won 15 times and lost just once.

He currently stays in Szczecin, Poland, a city known for its vibrant MMA scene which allows him to train with the best people. His training regimen includes striking, grappling, and jiu-jitsu which keeps him well-rounded for fights. Now he is coming back at UFC 308 to fight Myktybek Orolbai.
