UFC Lightweight Mateusz Gamrot picked up his second defeat in the promotion when he lost his UFC 280 bout against Beneil Dariush. But known for his habit of winning, ‘the 32-year-old’ didn’t take much time to revamp his victory run. He showcased his mettle in his following bout at UFC 285 and earned a split-decision victory over his rival, Jalin Turner. However, several fans might currently opine that trumping his next rival is going to be a much tougher affair for ‘Gamer’. Gamrot’s next opponent, Rafael Fiziev, is currently considered to be one of the most formidable forces in the UFC’s Lightweight division. Despite a loss against Justin ‘The Highlight’ Gaethje in his previous bout, Fiziev’s incredible agility and brutal kicks can pose a significant threat to him in their upcoming UFC Vegas 79 main event bout.

Most fans are probably aware of the fact that Gamrot entered the UFC with a startling undefeated record of 17-0-1. But a number of them also doubted his prowess after he picked up his first loss in his very first UFC bout. But ‘Gamer’ eventually silenced them all as he went on a four-fight win-streak before his next defeat. Post his last victory at UFC 285, Gamrot stated that he wanted to fight any of the top five contenders in the lightweight division. However, he also touched on the lesser-known side of his life in this interview, mentioning he would take his family on a vacation. But most UFC fans probably have pretty little idea about this rarely touched, personal side of the ’32-year-old’s’ life. So, let’s dive right in to know some more about it.

Several fans might have noticed that Gamrot has a completely distinct accent when it comes to talking in English. The improper sentences he gives out during his interviews might prompt a lot of them to think that English isn’t his mother tongue. Well, reports say that they aren’t too wrong in thinking so. The 32-year-old was born in the city of Bielsko-Biala, which lies in the southern part of Poland.

He has also talked in the Polish language during his in-octagon interviews. This might have a large chunk of fans labeling the Polish language as his mother tongue. But, the public domain doesn’t contain any information about his parents or their roots. Hence, looking at his birthplace, it can definitely be said that Mateusz Gamrot is a Polish indeed.

Is Mateusz Gamrot married? Who is his wife?

Several fans might have predicted that Gamrot is a married individual and has a family of his own after listening to his UFC 285 interview. A number of reports are also in good agreement with them. They state that ‘the Poland native’ tied the knot with his wife, Agata, on 18 August 2021. Do they have kids?

It reads, “Mom & wife”. Hence, a number of fans might have already realized that the couple has already been blessed with kids.
