UFC 299 is on fire, and Rafael Dos Anjos seems ͏to be playing his cards right in the heat of Miami, Florida. Mateusz Gamrot and Dos Anjos fought on the stacked UFC 299 card to improve their standing in the UFC rankings. Gamrot is on a 2-fight winning streak, while on the other hand, Dos Anjos is coming off a loss.

The bout was screaming the old-gen vs. new-gen fight. Rafael Dos Anjos started the match by having the upper hand when he clinched round one for himself, however ‘Gamer’ was not in the mood to let go of his winning streak. Gamrot controlled himself in the following rounds thus clinching the victory over Dos Anjos, however, after the victory, Gamrot seems to have issued a callout to the LW champ.

Mateusz Gamrot seemed a bit sloppy in the initial round, with Rafael Dos Anjos taking control of the match. Absorbing knees and body shots, Gamrot sustained heavy damage in the first round. However, things changed quickly when Gamrot started wrestling. Dos Anjos couldn’t keep up with Gamrot’s wrestling and the conclusion was Gamrot’s victory.

After the win, Gamrot took center stage to issue a callout to Islam Makhachev while having a conversation with Joe Rogan. “Dagestani wrestling vs. Poland wrestling,” said Gamrot in his statement. ‘Gamer’s ability to turn the match in his favor took the game his way and seems like he learned this technique from his partner Dustin Poirier.
