UFC bantamweight contender, Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera is set to take on the UFC bantamweight champion, ‘Suga’ Sean O’Malley at the main event of UFC  299. O’Malley, having only lost to Vera in his MMA career, didn’t take long to call out the Ecuadorian as his first title defense. Given ‘Chito’ stopped O’Malley in their first outing, fans are excited to see the drama and the fight leading to the main event of UFC 299.

Marlon Vera is a fighter with very few haters, given his cool demeanor and his authenticity. Vera has a swagger to him that is hard to imitate. This swagger is evident not only in him but also in the walkout songs he chooses.

During Marlon “Chito” Vera’s last fight against Pedro Munhoz, he walked out to “Where You Come From” by DJ Khaled feat. Buju Banton. The Ecuadorean might have had good luck with his walkout song, as he had a dominant performance against his opponent.

Chito managed to land more significant strikes as compared to Munhoz. His impregnable defense paired up with his amazing counterstrikes, did enough to get him a unanimous decision win. Both fighters started off by chewing each other’s legs with stern leg kicks but by the end of the fight, the older fighter wore most of the damage as he was unable to keep up with the Ecuadorean’s precision.

But throughout his career, Vera has walked out to other songs and found just as much success inside his octagon. In his fight against Dominick Cruz, Marlon Vera used a different song for his walkout.

‘Chito’s walkout song against Dominick Cruz

Marlon Vera walked out to a different walkout song in his fight against the former bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz. Chito walked out to “Spanish Town Rockin” by Chronixx and he definitely managed to rock the arena at UFC Fight Night on ESPN. Unlike the groovy tone of the song, the Ecuadorean managed to hand in one of the most devastating finishes in his career.

The 31-year-old finished Cruz in a little over 2 minutes of the fourth round, with a perfectly calculated and placed head kick on the UFC veteran. However, it felt like it was just some time before Vera finished the 38-year-old, as he seemed to be hurting him every time he hit Cruz clean.
