Former UFC champion Jon Jones is generating a lot of excitement for the octagon return. Fans can’t wait to see Jones back in action, and even one of the wealthiest people in the world is looking forward to the fight. ‘Bones’ will be fighting for the vacant heavyweight title against Ciryl Gane, which is sure to be an electrifying showdown.
Jones was initially targeting a fight against the former heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. However, Ngannou was unable to accept the terms of his contract renewal and left the organization, vacating the title. This created an opportunity for Jones to take on Gane for the title, and both fighters are preparing for what promises to be an intense battle.
Jones is known for his larger-than-life persona. Although he is equally famous for his almost unbeatable pro record and dominant performances inside the octagon, he has earned praise from many legends and fans, and even a tech tycoon is a fan of Jones. His reputation as a fierce competitor and a skilled fighter precedes him. Fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the octagon to see if he can add another victory to his record.

Mark Zuckerberg: A UFC and Jon Jones Fan
Mark Zuckerberg, of all people, is quite excited about Jones’ octagon return. He will make his comeback after over 3 years at UFC 285 main event. Although he has a great track record inside the octagon, Gane is no easy fight. In a recent post, Zuckerberg reveals footage of sparring with Volkanovski to test the limits of performance avatars with motion capture in their engage gear.
Jones commented on that post, “This Looks fun,” to which Zuckerberg replied, “Excited for your return“.

However, Zuckerberg being excited about the fight might not come as a surprise as he is partnering with the UFC. Zuckerberg is a fan of the sport and recently shared an Instagram post to wish Volkanovski all the best for his next fight. Additionally, Jones has big plans for the calendar year.
Jones Sets Sights on Miocic: The Ultimate Legacy Fight
‘Bones’ is targeting one of the greatest heavyweights of all time in order to solidify his legacy. In a recent interview, Jones reveals that he has his sights set on Stipe Miocic and that there is no fight that would mean more to him. Jones acknowledges that there are other fighters who are more intimidating, but defeating Miocic would have the biggest impact on his personal legacy.

Jones spoke candidly about his plans post-Gane fight, stating, “I’ve got my sights on Stipe Miocic. I think it just means the most. … There’s some really exciting fights out there, there’s guys that are more intimidating than Stipe, but for my personal legacy, to be able to defeat the greatest heavyweight of all-time, it just means the most to me.”

The former light heavyweight champion is famous for his explosive performances inside the octagon and every time he steps into the ring, fans can expect fireworks. It remains unclear if he will be able to maintain consistency and fight again in the future, but for now, Jones’ sights are set on Stipe Miocic and the ultimate legacy fight.
