Rogan informed his guests that Zuckerberg recently competed in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition, where he displayed his skills and dedication to martial art. In this competition, Zuckerberg emerged victorious, earning gold and silver medals.
Joe Rogan expressed admiration for Zuckerberg‘s commitment to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, praising him as a “f**king savage”. “Did you see Mark Zuckerberg won a gold medal in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition? Mark Zuckerberg is a f**king savage. He’s been training Jiu Jitsu. This is what he did. He wore a covid mask and he f**king put a hat on and he hid.”
Another notable figure discussed by Rogan was actor Tom Hardy, who participated in the 2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship. Hardy‘s dedication and skill earned him a medal with a blue belt in the competition held by Ultimate Martial Arts Championships. The Hollywood star’s performance impressed Rogan, and he also praised his acting skills.
“Tom Hardy did that a couple of times (referring to celebrities competing in martial arts events). He was awesome in Warrior. I bought it hook line and sinker. Look at that gold medal! Wow, dudes f**ing jacked.”
Moreover, the Facebook CEO commented on the prospect of a bout against Hardy.
Mark Zuckerberg vs Tom Hardy?
Mark Zuckerberg, after sharing his Jiu-Jitsu competition win on Instagram, received an interesting comment from a meme page. The page goes by the name of Tank.Sinatra and has more than 3 million comments. “Zuck vs Tom Hardy PPV let’s do it”, the comment read.

In response, Zuckerberg acknowledged the suggestion, noting the weight difference between them and praising Hardy as a formidable opponent. With a touch of humility, Zuckerberg recognized Hardy’s physical prowess, emphasizing the actor’s reputation as a “beast.” “Slightly different weight class? That guy is a beast!”, Zuckerberg said.
