Despite being on a losing st͏reak in recent fights, ͏Mar͏cin Tybura’s record as a heavyweight fighter is far from dull. With 24 victories and 8 losses,͏ ͏Tybura is currently ranked 10th in the UFC’s heavyweight division. ‘Tybur’ started his MMA journey when one of his friends introduced him to the sport. After a few weeks of practicing, Tybura wanted to compete but he had no professional training so he had to adjust.

Fighting out of Uniejów in Poland, Tybura has the same ethnicity as light heavyweight fighter Jiri Prochazka. After years of training, Tybuira finally made his professional debut on November 5, 2011, against Robert Marcok. Tybura took Marcok to a spiral and defeated him by a rear-naked choke. Tybura was one of the best heavyweight fighters in the Polish circuit. ‘Tybur’ is now inching close to fight Tai Tuivasa and this fight might work in his way as Tuivasa is recovering from his injury.

Tuivasa is recovering from surgery while on the other hand, Tybura is coming fresh from a loss and this might prove as a detrimental factor in their match. Despite the injury, Tuivasa at the media stated that the pressure is there but its nothing special. “There’s always pressure, but it’s no pressure I haven’t seen before. I’ve been here before in my life and infighting. My preparation has been good, so I’m relying on that. Marcin has been around for a long time – I’ve watched him for many years. He’s very experienced. I’m not going to be able to bring anything that he hasn’t seen before.”
