Backing Jiri Prochazka’s claims, ‘The Last Stylebender’ mentioned that he realized that there was an eerie presence of Pereira’s spirits when he lost to him twice in Glory of Heroes– and even in the UFC when after dominating the whole fight, Izzy fell victim in the final round to a barrage of strikes and was knocked out.

“You know what Jiri said about the whole juju thing? Like that’s real. That’s real,” Israel Adesanya told Joe Rogan. “The last time I fought him in Miami, look… the guy beat me in the biggest arena on the planet, Madison Square Garden same way as the last time he beat me in Brazil.” Could it have been a coincidence?
