With a record of 35 victories and 17 losses, Masvidal decided to leave MMA after his loss via decision against Burns. The bout between the two was held on April 8th at Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. The fans never expected Masvidal to jump into a new career option within such a short time. ‘Gamebred’ announced his retirement from the UFC after being a part of the promotion for ten long years.

He is famous in the UFC World for his carefree attitude and trash talk. ‘Gamebred’ made a lot of headlines when he attacked his UFC 272 opponent, Colby Covington, outside a restaurant in Miami after he lost against Covington via decision. The UFC star had to face legal complications regarding the same. Nonetheless, now he wants to try his hands at pro wrestling to show the guys some “discipline.”

As an answer to the question, Masvidal said,If it’s AEW, if it’s WWE, if it’s at a parking lot, at KFC; as long as they pay me, we can play. Masvidal made it clear that he won’t mind turning to wrestling if he receives a huge paycheck.
