Conor McGregor is one of the fighters who never goes out of the limelight. Although he was out of action for a couple of years, owing to his injury, he was still called out by UFC fighters. However, he finally made himself relevant to the UFC by taking up the role of coach at The Ultimate Fighter. However, his new look has confused fans and fighters alike. He has bulked up and shaved his beard.
Recently, in an interview with ‘Full Violence’, Jorge Masvidal claimed that he couldn’t recognize the former UFC double champion at first. Moreover, the ‘Gamebred Fighter’ believed that McGregor’s head looked huge. Furthermore, when asked about whether UFC approached him to coach against ‘The Notorious’ in TUF 31, Masvidal had a quirky response in wait. However, this wasn’t the first time Masvidal attacked McGregor.

‘Gamebred’ recently appeared in an interview with ‘Full Violence’. Without a doubt, the interview had to involve a conversation about the recent events of UFC 285. The interviewer asked Masvidal if he saw the ‘Mystic Man’ at UFC 285. Although Masvidal agreed to have seen McGregor, he claimed that he couldn’t recognize him initially.

Masvidal said, “Yeah, I saw him but I didn’t recognize him. He looks like this new Conor ate the last Conor.” Furthermore, he added, “He’s done something, man. His f**king face looked like he ain’t slept in days and just been pounding f**king drinks. His head looks huge. I didn’t f**king recognize him at first.”
Although McGregor is one of the most prominent entities in the world of mixed martial arts, the change in his physique and facial appearance has deemed him unrecognizable by many fans and professionals in the MMA world. Nevertheless, ‘The Notorious’ has turned to redeem himself in the Octagon by taking up the role of a coach in TUF 31.

The interviewer then asked ‘Gamebred’ whether the UFC approached him to coach against the Irishman. Masvidal denied and revealed that McGregor never talks badly about him. He said, “No. Conor don’t mention my name when it comes to this sh*t. I can talk all the sh*t I want about Conor. Conor wouldn’t even… He acts as if I’m not alive and I get it why, you know.”
Masvidal claimed that he was a bigger fighter than McGregor. Moreover, he believed that he was better when it came to PPV and making money through fights. He said, “But, the UFC told him numerous times, the biggest fight to be made right now, pay-per-view wise, making money wise, is Masvidal.”
