“Listen You Fat Phuck”- Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov Have a War of Words After Tony Ferguson’s Comments

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson is a fight that we never got. Both were tipped to fight each other five times, but all five times, the fight fell off. ‘The Eagle’ and ‘El Cucuy’ saw the kind of success very few fighters get to see.

Ferguson is a former interim UFC lightweight champion and was on a 12-fight win streak before losing to Justin Gaethje. He is often considered one of the toughest fighters in the UFC and is a huge fan favorite. Nurmagomedov, on the other hand, retired undefeated. Many consider the Dagestan native as the greatest of all time.

He finished his career with a 29-0 record and as the UFC lightweight champion. However, Khabib vs. Ferguson is a fight everyone in the MMA community wanted to see at least once. The fight, for various reasons, kept getting canceled. But both men have reignited their rivalry on Twitter recently. Nurmagomedov, in a recent Twitter post, responded to a post by Ferguson.

He said, “For the last three years Tony Ferguson you never won a single round in the @ufc some of the rounds you lost 10:8. Since 2015 you won only one fighter from top 15. Tony, it’s a clear picture here, I’m not gonna go low and personal, not gonna insult you. It’s just a facts.”

Tony Ferguson targeted Khabib Nurmagomedov in a recent post

Ferguson took a dig at his old rival on Twitter. In a fiery post, he seemed to blame Nurmagomedov for running off to Russia before their last fight, to avoid him.

‘El Cucuy‘ said, “Listen You Fat Phuck @TeamKhabib Last Time I Saw You, Ya Ran Off To A Different Country Like A Little Bitch To Avoid Our Title Fight. The Time Before That Ya Faked A Stomach Ache To Get Out Of Our Title Fight. Shut Cha’Trap. Leave The Man Shit To The Ones On The Front Line.”

There seems to be no end to the rivalry between the two. Nurmagomedov is retired and Ferguson is currently in a three-fight skid. However, they still don’t seem to like each other. Khabib Nurmagomedov’s prodigy Islam Makhachev recently called the former interim champion out, but nothing happened on that front.

People can be assured that this is not the end of the war of words between the two and more is yet to come.
