Joe Rogan has expressed his love for rock and roll music many times on his podcast. During a recent episode of his million-dollar ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast, he stumbled across a video of Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones performing live. He wondered if any other artist gets the same reception they got during the 60s and the 70s.
The Rolling Stones were one of the most legendary and Iconic English rock bands ever. They were active for almost six decades and Joe Rogan happens to be one of their biggest fans among millions of others.

During the #1981 episode of the JRE podcast, Joe Rogan and his guest, Pauly Shore, happened to put on a video of The Rolling Stones performing live on ‘The Ed Sullivan Show’ in 1966. The famous UFC commentator was in awe of the presentation of the legendary rock band. He said, “Look at Mick Jagger. Look at how amazing that looks… Wow! Look at their faces.”
The 55-year-old was captivated by the reception the rock band got from the crowd. “Listen to the girls screaming. Does anybody get that kind of reaction today? They’re just shrieking constantly,” said the 55-year-old podcast host. He once went to see The Rolling Stones perform live and was left fascinated by the legendary musicians.
UFC commentator couldn’t believe it when he saw The Rolling Stones live
Comedian Joey Diaz joined Joe Rogan in an older episode of the JRE podcast when the 55-year-old expressed how weird he felt when he saw the legendary English rock band live. He said, “I was blown away. When I got there, I was a weirdo, like I couldn’t talk to anybody.” He added, “I was just watching it like, ‘Is this real?… Is that really Mick Jagger?”

Joe Rogan believes that the way he felt when he saw Mick Jack and company happens when people realize how big they actually are. “That’s when you realize what cultural icons they are.” He recalls finding several trucks parked there just for the members of The Rolling Stones and one of those trucks operated as a gym for Mick Jagger.

The Rolling Stones are one of the best-selling musicians of all time with an estimated 200 million record sales. They received their rightful spot in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. In addition, they also made earned their sport in the UK Music Hall of Fame much later in 2004.
