The UFC has organized some of the biggest fights in MMA. With several famous fighters on its roster, the promotion has delivered some fan-favorite fights. These fights include personalities like Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey, and many more.

Here’s a list of some of the biggest fights that took place under the promotion.
UFC 207: Ronda Rousey versus Amanda Nunes
Rousey went undefeated in the sport of MMA until she faced Holly Holm. Post this, she lost once again against Amanda Nunes. As per ‘Givemesport’, the fight resulted in 1,100,000 PPV buys and amassed $60 million.
Rousey lost the bout via T/KO in the first round.
UFC 193: Ronda Rousey versus Holly Holm
Rousey‘s first defeat had also resulted in 1,100,000 PPV buys, and earned $60 million; the same as her Nunes fight.
UFC 116: Brock Lesnar versus Shane Carwin
Lesnar faced Shane Carwin in his sixth UFC fight. He won it through submission in the second round.

The fight had 1,160,000 PPV buys and made $55 million.
UFC 200: Miesha Tate versus Amanda Nunes
Miesha Tate, who fought Nunes in 2016, lost the fight through submission in round one. However, it was an exciting fight for fans. Their fight managed to get a whopping 1,200,000 PPV buys and made $71 million.
UFC 205: Eddie Alvarez versus Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor’s fights are usually big. However, it was the 205 fight against Alvarez that helped the Irishman become the lightweight champion. McGregor won by T/KO in round two and he went on to become champ-champ.

His fight with Alvarez brought in 1,300,000 PPV buys and earned $83 million.
UFC 194: Jose Aldo versus Conor McGregor
McGregor’s fight against Jose Aldo too was a huge bout. By knocking out Aldo, McGregor won his fifth fight in a row via T/KO, and he successfully defended his featherweight belt.
The bout saw 1,400,000 PPV buys and earned a huge sum of $80 million.
UFC 196: Conor McGregor versus Nate Diaz
After defeating Aldo, ‘The Notorious’ went on to face the Stockton fighter, Nate Diaz. While McGregor, unfortunately, lost the fight, he face Diaz once again and won their second bout.

McGregor versus Diaz’s fight saw 1,500,000 PPV buys and earned $80 million.
UFC 100: Brock Lesnar versus Frank Mir
While Lesnar had initially lost against opponent Frank Mir in his second UFC bout, he managed to turn the tables when they faced each other once again. Lesnar won their second bout via T/KO in the second round.

Because Lesnar had lost their first fight, the second bout became all the more interesting. Their fight witnessed 1,600,000 PPV buys and earned $82 million.
UFC 202: Nate Diaz versus Conor McGregor
Like Lesnar, McGregor defeated his opponent when they faced the second time. Diaz versus McGregor 2 saw 1,650,000 PPV buys and made $90 million.

UFC 229: Conor McGregor versus Khabib Nurmagonedov
While Conor McGregor has been in several huge fights, the UFC 229 bout against bitter rival Nurmagomedov happens to be one of the biggest fights in the promotion. Their rivalry has resulted in clashes outside the Octagon. However, inside the Octagon, the Dagestani wrestler won the bout through submission in round four.
