Similarly, the famed podcaster’s obsession with fitness is well known. While the standup comic doesn’t shy away from experimenting with his diet, he has expressed his doubts about the recent trend of adopting a plant-based diet.

On multiple occasions, he voiced his ethical and environmental concerns about the plant-based diet. The same was hotly deliberated when he sat down with Matt Taibbi on episode #1940 of JRE. The 55-year-old notably mentioned he shared a problem with people who dictated what was good and wasn’t good for the world.
Joe Rogan questions the future of a plant-based diet
Talking on the same, Rogan stated the publicity of anything good always benefitted enormous groups economically. The same was the case with plant-based meat.
Thus, he said, “When all those people with saying plant-based meat is the future, like the f*ck it is. It’s really bad for you. It’s really bad for you.”
Further, the comedian contended not only that mono-crop agriculture was terrible for the land, but the animals also shared the same effect. The renowned TV then presenter put forth a different aspect of the idea of one life equals one life.
He hence pointed out, “This idea if one life equals one life, you’re way better off buying cows and eating cows than you are buying corn. Because in order to grow a stalk of corn, a lot of sh*t has to die.”
Rogan points out the unnatural existence of a plant-based diet
Following this, the color commentator asserted that the use of mono-crop agriculture and industrialized farming methods on the controlled enormous swaths of lands was ‘totally unnatural’.
Hence, he insisted, “Doesn’t exist anywhere in nature. In order to do that, you have to poison everything else. You have to kill all the animals.”

Lastly, Rogan summed up, “You’re supporting mono-crop agriculture, industrialized farming and you are supporting very unhealthy food.”
Markedly, the MMA analyst’s obsession with fitness could be associated with his early inclination towards karate, taekwondo, and his amateur kickboxing career.
