

Conor McGregor and Arnold Schwarzenegger met ahead of McGregor’s bout with Jose Aldo. It was one of the funniest moments that even featured in Conor McGregor: Notorious (2017) movie. The interaction lasted a brief period in the clip, yet it had all the elements required.

Ahead of UFC 189, the originally scheduled PPV for Aldo vs. McGregor for the UFC featherweight championship, McGregor’s camp had a welcome guest. Former Governor of California, former bodybuilder, & iconic actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, came to meet ‘The Notorious’.
The Irishman described what was happening in his camp and said, “I brought everybody out here under one roof. I’ll prepare for gold in mind. It’s the way world champions do and I’m a world champion.”

Schwarzenegger responded, “But I heard you’re training with your three-piece suits.”
Both laughed before the angle cuts to McGregor having a conversation with his physician.

Moments later, McGregor was there with Schwarzenegger. He said, “You were my hero growing up but heather [McGregor’s physician] is my hero now.”
Both appreciated the physician before McGregor said, “UFC 189, I know it’s a long long away. I know you’re a busy man but I’ll put you down as there, so I’ll understand if you’re not but honestly…”
As McGregor was finishing his thought, The Terminator star said, “Let’s say I’ll be back.”
McGregor, Schwarzenegger, and the entire crew there giggled likes geeks at the famous line. When Schwarzenegger left, McGregor said, “‘I’ll be back’ Oh, stop, I was like what! You’re a f***ing legend.”

Even though Jose Aldo had to pull out from UFC 189, McGregor still headlined the PPV card. ‘The Notorious’ fought against, arguably, the best wrestler in the featherweight division, Chad Mendes.

‘The Mystic Mac’ didn’t disappoint as he defeated Mendes in the second round after facing an early adversary. After the hard-fought win, McGregor got emotional and celebrated the win with his family.
