Conor McGregor is infamous for his polarizing character in and outside the octagon. However, the Irishman has a quality that many aren’t aware of. No matter what he portrays or displays, he has time and again been at the forefront of helping people when in need.
From building houses for the homeless in Dublin to donating PPE kits worth over $1 million, the UFC legend has done it all. Additionally, he even donated $500K to his nemesis Dustin Poirier’s Good Fight Foundation charity. Notably, his most recent charitable gesture was for an Irish fighter, Ian Coughlan, who required stem cell surgery. ‘The Notorious’ has donated €10,000 to his aid.
McGregor also voiced his support on Twitter. He tweeted, “Guys, let’s get together and support this young Irish fighter who suffered a terrible injury at a gym in Ireland. Coach John and the team at SBG are hosting a training day and my own recovery permitting. I hope to be in attendance. There will be signed fight wear also!”
