Belal Muhammad and Leon Edwards finally faced off and it seemed like the former had the edge ahead of their main event clash. ‘Remember the Name’ had mentioned witnessing an afraid ‘Rocky’ when they met up in the lift where the UFC 304 fighters were stationed. After the face-off, fans believe that Muhammad has an edge over Edwards.

A chorus of boos followed when Belal Muhammad stepped onto the stage for the UFC 304 press conference. Both he and Leon Edwards traded jibes at each other, but what made fans believe the challenger to have gained an edge was when the champion failed to make Muhammad flinch during the face-off.

Leon Edwards, who’ll put up his title for grabs against a third opponent, could not get the better of Belal Muhammad. Why? Because ‘Remember the Name’ wasn’t having any of what the English champion threw at him. After not flinching at Edwards’s attempt to punk him, Muhammad stood unfazed.

Fans were quick to pick up on what was happening and took to social media to express what they concluded from the face-off between Belal Muhammad and Leon Edwards. Guess what? You may not have expected it but fans had a positive epiphany about Muhammad.

“Belal won the face off by decision,” said one fan after witnessing what went down at the pressers. Some fans even claimed, “LOL watch Belal dominate the fight,” siding with the Chicago native to win the fight. Some fans even claimed, “Leon lost his aura,” after Edwards failed to rattle ‘Remember the Name’.

Belal Muhammad has been a massive advocate and a representative of the Palestinian masses. Hence, some of them paid dividends as they came out in support to say, “Because we aren’t scared of anything, free Palestine!!” Thereafter, one fan seemed to have it all figured out. His only conclusion from the face-off between Belal Muhammad and Leon Edwards led him to claim that Bruce Buffer could be announcing “And new,” crowning ‘Remember the Name’ as the champion.

Meanwhile, some fans were surprised to see Edwards act the way he did during the face-off. They thought he had already ruffled Muhammad up. One fan stated, “Aint Leon make dude cry last time they fought?” On the bright side, Leon Edwards still has his fans and supporters who claim that ‘Rocky’ wasn’t lacking any confidence during the face-off. “Leon also doesn’t seem to be scared like Belal was trying to say,” said a user on Instagram.
