Leon Edwards will fight Belal Muhammad in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs Muhammad. A win for Edwards will assure him a shot at the welterweight title next. ‘Rocky’ is currently on an 8-fight winning streak in the 170lbs division of the UFC.
One fight every fan wants to see since a long time is a clash between Edwards and Jorge Masvidal. The two planted the seeds of their rivalry on a UFC Fight Night event in London in 2019, where Masvidal punched Edwards while doing an interview backstage. The two were expected to settle those differences inside the Octagon, but that hasn’t happened yet.

“100% I mean for sure that Jorge fight should’ve happened by now. He turned it down and making excuses. Well, his day will come. We’re pushing towards him after this fight.
“We’ll look for Usman. He’s the last guy to beat me so I’d love to get a win back but Jorge, definitely happen inside or outside the cage. And also, that’s gonna happen, mark my word,” said Edwards.

Leon Edwards vs Belal Muhammad: last-minute prediction
Edwards is currently on an 8-fight winning streak in the welterweight division. But he hasn’t competed since 2019. Whether rin-rust will be an issue for him remains to be seen. Muhammad has always been a well-conditioned fighter. So, he will look to put a good pace early on Edwards.

But Edwards is proficient in both the striking and grappling departments. His complete skill set should be good enough to get better of the no.13 ranked Muhammad, once the no.3 ranked ‘Rocky’ clears the initial cobwebs of Octagon inactivity. Edwards should be able to get a decision or a finish.
