Leon Edwards, the newly crowned UFC welterweight champion, shared a solution to revoke the Drake curse after the Canadian rapper lost almost half a million dollars at UFC 278.
The Grammy-winning rapper routinely wagers on major UFC matches. Drake isn’t concerned about losing his money. In prior UFC matches, he had a substantial quantity of money at stake. Drake’s forecasts don’t always pan out, though. Apparently, most of the fighters he chooses to back lose their fights and people bill it as the Drake curse.

It seems like the curse continued at UFC 278. According to the reports, the Canadian rapper lost $500,000, as he backed Kamaru Usman and Jose Aldo for the win on the main card.
Aldo lost the bout via decision. Meanwhile, ‘Rocky’ knocked ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ out cold in the fifth round of the bout. Both the fights cost Drake a huge sum. However, the new welterweight champion had advice for the rapper to revoke the curse.
“Yeah, next time bet on me and get one of them Rolexes you gave Molly and Paddy,” Edwards said in the post-fight interview when asked about the bet.
The British fighter, who knocked out the number one pound-for-pound best in the UFC, asked Drake to back him for the win next time. ‘Rocky’ also urged the rapper to gift him an expensive Rolex, which he reportedly gifted to his compatriot Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann.

Drake backed both best friends McCann and Pimblett for a win last month. Interestingly, ‘Meatball’ finished her fight in the first round via a knockout. Meanwhile, ‘The Baddy’ has secured a second-round submission win in his fight. As a result, the rapper took home over $3 million.
Apparently, the Canadian was having a lucky day. And to reward both the fighters for their victory, the Grammy winner promised to gift them a Rolex watch on Instagram.
