For the unversed, Alex Pereira for quite some time has shown his willingness to move up to the heavyweight division to clinch a third division title. And this would mean a direct clash with Jones if he is able to weather the storm in New York in a week’s time.
But what exactly does the 37-year-old feel about the possible clash. Well, ‘Bones’ seems super excited about the idea of the scrap and did respond to the comment. The world has been waiting for a longtime to witness the return of Jon Jones. He was all set to feature at UFC 295 against the same opponent for his first title defense. But unfortunately an injury forced him out of the clash at the last moment. Facing the ‘greatest UFC heavyweight’ in Stipe Miocic, ‘Bones’ will look to retire from the sport as the ‘greatest fighter of all time’. ‘Bones’ has been training with ADCC champ Gordon Ryan and Olympic gold medalist wrestler Gable Steveson in order to sharpen his skills. With his training camp coming to a close, he took to Instagram to share an emotional message for his team mates. He wrote, “More than anything, I’m grateful.
