Junior Dos Santos’ last UFC fight was against Ciryl Gane back in December 2020. Owing to four back-to-back losses via T/KO, he was released by the promotion. The fighter did not like the way his hard work was disregarded. According to him, he wasn’t even informed by the UFC about his release.
Instead, Dan Lambert broke the news to Dos Santos. Considering that he had a long career with UFC, this would have come as a big shock for him.
While it came as an enormous setback in his MMA career, there seems to be some great news ahead for him. Brett Okamoto shared the news that ‘Cigano’ will now be managed by none other than Ali Abdelaziz and his Dominance MMA Management.

Abdelaziz’s management organization handles several great MMA fighters and hence, this could benefit dos Santos’ career ahead. However, this is not the only great news for him. It seems there is a young promotion that is interested in getting him on board.
Khabib Nurmagomedov on Junior Dos Santos
