Celebrities registered their reactions towards UFC personality Joe Rogan and the Spotify boycott controversy. This has been the talk of the town since late January.

Some celebrities had strong opinions about this controversy and shared the same on Twitter.

Former Olympian, and one of the world’s most famous transgender people, had this to say over the drama-

“Bye bye Leftover hippies from the 60’s boycotting @joerogan on Spotify. Nobody will miss you. Thank you @Spotify for standing up for Rogan!” 

“Don’t look to why so many people trust joe Rogan, look to why so few people trust the mainstream media,” American actress Whitney Cummings wrote on Twitter.

“Nobody has stronger opinions about Joe Rogan than people who have never listened to Joe Rogan,” Edward Snowden shared his views.

“If you won’t censor the guy I don’t like, I won’t let you listen to ‘Keep on rocking in the free world,'” Billionaire CEO Elon Musk shared a meme correlating to the drama.

“Who y’all think is behind this attack on Rogan?” comedian Andrew Schulz was curious.

 

Joe Rogan is one of the most renowned entities in the Mixed Martial Arts space. He has been long associated with the UFC as a color commentator and interviewer. However, it is safe to say that Rogan is now better known as a podcaster rather than a commentator.

But his podcasts have landed him in trouble and drawn mixed reactions. While some have supported him, others have forced Spotify’s hand by taking their content off the platform. All this came after Rogan was accused of spreading misinformation for something his guests said on the Joe Rogan Experience.

Joe Rogan clears his stance on the accusations

As the controversy took a toll over Rogan, the UFC commentator turned podcaster shared his own views on the misinformation debacle.

Rogan, on Instagram, shared a video of himself, where he can be heard explaining his stance on the whole debate.

His response to the Spotify drama garnered support from quite a few MMA stars such as Israel Adesanya, Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera, and Belal Muhammad.
