Dana White put on a Hasbulla shirt in an Instagram video, displeasing many fans. In an Instagram Video, the UFC boss appeared in a shirt featuring ‘Mini Khabib’ to hype up the upcoming Power Slap 3.

Power Slap, the slap fight promotion owned by Dana White has an event on July 7 headlined by a clash between Ajay Hintz and his former coach Wolverine.

The promotion is very controversial among fans. While most fans ridicule the sport for potentially causing long-term trauma and compromising the competitors’ cognitive abilities, some believe it to be another combat sport in the category of Boxing and MMA.

Hasbulla, on the other hand, is universally loved by fight fans. In fact, Dana signed Hasbulla for more money than some actual fighters, which raised many eyebrows.

Why Dana White Loves Hasbulla

Dana White first met Hasbulla at UFC 267 in Dubai after Hasbulla announced “Dana White, I’m coming to UFC Abu Dhabi. See you and be ready.” on an Instagram video. Dana White replied with “Hasbulla…I cannot wait for our meeting and I cannot wait to see you.” in a video on his Instagram.

Hasbulla, who, like Khabib Nurmagemedov is from Dagestan, suffers from dwarfism. He went viral in 2021 when he feuded with the Uzbek Abdur Rozik- another little person.

Sparks flew between the two when Hasbulla accused Abdur Rozik of being a bad Muslim for endorsing online betting- a sin in Islam. Rozik accused Hasbulla of the same for swearing during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

A fight was promised but never materialized. But Hasbulla went on to rub shoulders with the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Mike Tyson, Shaquille O’Neal, to Dana White himself, who signed Hasbulla to a 5-year contract with Hasbulla at UFC 267 in Dubai due to the latter’s popularity.

Clearly, the fans felt like Dana was using Hasbulla- who is loved by ordinary people as well as celebrities- to promote Power Slap.
